Takenori Kawamura (河村 武憲 Kawamura Takenori) is the father of Takeshi Kawamura.
Appearance[]
Takenori has bushy brown hair, blue eyes and oval-shaped glasses.
He typically wears a brown suit.
Personality[]
Takenori cares about his son, but he is overbearing. When he forms an opinion that something is dangerous he can become dedicated to campaigning against it, such as when he wrote a book claiming ESP would destroy the world and appeared on TV to promote it.
Plot[]
Takeshi appeared on a news program to promote his book condeming Espers. He panicked when his son, Takeshi Kawamura, was shown live using Psychokinesis.
Kōichi Minamoto arrives (, with Shūji Sakaki in the manga) and takes him to his son.
After reconciling his hatred of Espers, he asks B.A.B.E.L. to train Takeshi, and offers information on the Normal People's North Nerima branch.

Takeshi Kawamura[]
Takeshi is Takenori's son. Takenori has an overbearing personality, and does what he can to protect Takeshi. After discovering his son has ESP Takenori completely changed his stance on Espers, despite having been so committed in his crusade against them. Takenori grew closer to his son because of this.
Etymology[]
- The name Takenori means "military, martial" (武) (take) and "law" (憲) (nori).
- Takenori's surname Kawamura means "river, stream" (河) (kawa) and "town, village" (村) (mura).
